Tracing the Ghost Signs of Downtown Portland

This walk will be a slow jaunt from Commercial Street to Congress Street to explore some of the faded remains of Portland’s ghost signs from the late nineteenth to the mid twentieth centuries. This tour will have roughly 17 stops and includes many obvious ghost signs like the E. Swasey sign at 271 Commercial Street as well as many other faded signs that you might not have ever noticed!
