(RE)Vision Hallowell

This photo shows the northern section of Front St and the area to be re-visioned. Photo from Google Earth.

On this walk about town, participants will gather at our first stop at 1:30 PM and visit 4 locations that were identified in the Revitalization Roadmap Process in 2022 as top candidates for revisioning. The Sites and locations are listed below:
1) The Bandstand at Granite City Park, located attached to the big red building, 102 Water St on the south end of Granite City park
2) Front Street, our river walk
3) The NW corner of Water and Central Streets
4) Perley’s Lane, between Slates and Bistro Milliard

It is advisable to dress in comfort, for the weather and with sensible shoes.

Most of the walk will be on even sidewalks, with the exception of Front Street. If that area is too challenging, participants can meet us just down the street from Stop 1 and pick up the walk at Stop 3.

Starting Location:

At the Bandstand of Granite City Park, at the junction of Winthrop and Water Streets.

Ending Location:

Perley's Lane, located between Slates Restaurant and Cafe Milliard
