Remembering The Belgrade Hotel: Gone, but Not Forgotten

Postcard of the Belgrade Hotel, Belgrade Maine

When the 100-room wooden Belgrade Hotel burned to the ground in 1956, its loss left an enormous impact on the Belgrade Lakes Village community. Without the main hotel, the remaining buildings and grounds were sold or moved but a few still survive 65+ years later. Our walk will highlight the grounds of the hotel and remaining buildings. We will share the history and stories of the Belgrade
Hotel and its legacy.

Walk will be on paved roads and brick sidewalks
