City design is something we often do not notice and will even walk directly over! Come explore the designs on our city and make a print of a manhole cover here in downtown! We will walk one block on Main St in Waterville and then go to Head of Falls to visit the Two Cent Bridge for some of the best manhole covers in town! Our total walk will take use about 4 blocks and will have plenty of stops along the way.
This walk is open to all ages and begins at the Paul J Schupf Art Center at 93 Main St.
Accessibility:
There will be uneven ground in some spots near the end of the walk but you can take wheelchairs and strollers on the entire walk. In order to print, you will need to kneel or bend over to make the print but we will have volunteers to help out if being on the ground is tough!
Starting Location:
Paul J Schupf Art center, which is a big glass building that says ARTS on the front. We will meet in the lobby!Ending Location:
We will conclude our walk on the Two Cent Bridge, which is over the Kennebec River. You can get there via Temple St and Front St.Waterville, Maine 04901
