Join archivists from the Muskie Archives at Bates College for a walk along Frye Street and College Street and learn about the historic homes, the architects who designed them, and the people who lived there. Beginning with Cheney House on College Street, the tour will continue down Frye Street and circle back to the starting point. The tour will include historic images of the buildings and people.
Accessibility:
The tour will be on sidewalks and will be accessible. Citylink buses 7 and 9 stop at the Bates College campus.
Starting Location:
Meet at the corner of Campus Avenue and College Street on the corner of the Bates College Quad. This is the opposite side of the street from 262 College Street.
Ending Location:
Across the street from the starting point, the tour will end at Bates College's Campus Safety office.
